Altai Argali usually inhabit large mountain ridges in western or north western part of Mongolia. This Argali is the largest of all sheep. This sheep can be found to the north of Mongolia as well, in southern parts of Hiangan Mountains, close to Russian border.
The size of good trophy Altai ram can be around 56’’-58’’.
Exceptional ones reach 62’’-66’’.
The base may vary from 19’’-22’’.
