The population and number of Gobi sheep can be good depending on seasonal precipitation. In southern Altai and in the mountains of semi-desert and desert zones of Gobi. During the mating period (Oct, Nov) hunters are able to spot larger groups of sheep. 

The size of very good Gobi ram starts from 45’’.
Exceptional ones  reach 50’’.
The base may vary from 15’’-17’’.
